Beverely Hills city and residents are also constantly hit with fines for wasteful water usage, especially in California's drought seasons.
Contractors beware. Inspection request system is a nightmare! By phone they only take inspections for the next business day. You will never speak to a real person. Call at 9am to make a request and if there is no inspection available the machine tells you to call back tomorrow!? What the heck? You can't just schedule for the next available day? This leads to you possibly calling for multiple days to try and get an appointment. Also, their web-site sucks balls too. I couldn't add our permit to the online system in order to schedule that way either. You are going to have to go into City Hall. Good luck!
Beverley Hills might be one of the nicest neighborhoods in Los Angeles but at what cost.
With fading quality of life
Beautiful 5 star city when we moved here is 1971
This city has fought tooth and nail to keep proper public transportation out of its area. Why? You can imagine, it would be make the area more accessible to literally the rest of Los Angeles who isn't a white elite.
Additionally to cutting off If you're an outsider you are 75% guaranteed to get a parking ticket within the first 5 times you visit. Their parking payment is handled by a third party vendor who takes a percentage of citation income, therefore raising the price of citations on their terrible labeled streets.
I'd say we are a 3 star city now due to excessive traffic
